Where to Begin with Direct Mail; Yellow Letters, or Business
Where you truly need to begin with marketing is your budget. You have to decide how much you can spend each month for 6 months without regard to getting a deal or not. This is your base line, and you should do as much as you can with it. Direct mail is my bread and butter, so I send out as many letters as I can each and every month with my $1200 budget.
The key to any kind of meaningful success with direct mail is consistent and persistent mailings. That is to say that you cant mail to each target just once and expect good success. It takes multiple letters over time, but the result is a machine that will consistently spit out deals. ( You may want to read my blog spot covering how to set that up)
My service consists of writing your letter copy to appeal to the target and generating the letters and envelopes. For this I charge .75 cents per name, and ship the letters and envelopes to you to stuff and stamp for mailing. Or for $1.45 per name, I will stuff, stamp and either mail them out for you, or ship to you to drop in the mail locally
If you’re already a pro at this: all you would need to do is send me your list, the return address (and a shipping address if different), name and phone number you would like to use for your mail pieces.
But if you’re a newbie, the value add is this: if you use my marketing service, put your own skin in the game, then I make my resources open to help you get that first deal. I can help with your phone work, negotiations, contracts, assignments, etc. etc. What you need when you need it.
If you’re ready to begin then let’s get it started.
